Work: 2 Weeks In

canThree cheers for the weekend! I’ve finished the second week of work. For the past two weeks, I’ve woken up at around 6 am, ate breakfast, and have gone to work for 7 am. At 3:30 pm, I leave work, get home, do some exercise, eat, shower, and eat some more. By then it is around 6 pm, and for some reason, even though it has only been 12 hours, I’m dead tired. More times than I would’ve liked, I’ve accidentally fallen asleep on the couch or on the floor and wake up in much confusion.

But I’ve learned quite a bit in the last couple of weeks. Never before have I painted so many walls, taped so many doors/windows/electrical outlets, or stretched/squatted this much in such a short period of time. You know those metal garbage bins that are scattered about in the parks and busy areas of the city like downtown? Have you ever wondered much about them? No? Well, me neither. Until now. I’ve never scraped/painted so many metal garbage cans. I’m actually somewhat surprised at how much gum is stuck on the insides of those garbage cans. It’s quite difficult to scrape it all off when it’s all dry and hard.

It’s already the end of May! ‘Tis really important to make plans and stick to them or else stuff doesn’t get done…also known as accidentally falling asleep sometimes after dinner, if you’re me. I am planning on doing that tomorrow.

There is only 3 months left of summer! Can you believe it? One month has already gone by…

I will continue with the work updates later as it is already way past my new summer bedtime. (Haha…well, if I’m going to wake up at 6 am, I better sleep early!)
