Edible houseplants: the tasty things you can grow indoors

A noon-hour workshop Monday, May 5th  Downtown campus

pomegranateHere’s a new twist to greening your office or home environment: make it tasty too! McGill Plant Science PhD Student Christie Lovat will take you on a botanical adventure to explore the many plants you can grow indoors and eat too. Covering a wide range of edible houseplants, from tropical fruits, to edible plants, flowers, herbs and mushrooms, this noon-hour workshop will provide you with great information and new ideas as well as a dwarf pomegranate to take back to your office or home.

 

Workshop date: Monday, May 5th

Session A 11:30-12:30

Session B 12:30-13:30

Cost: $20

Workshop Location: MS-74 (behind the Service Point or Service Point (Welcome Centre) (3415 McTavish Street, H3A 0C8).

Space is limited to 40 participants. To register, contact Heidi Hoernig at heidi (dot) hoernig (at) mcgill (dot) ca. Please indicate which session you would like to attend. Directions and instructions will be sent with workshop registration confirmation. Confirmation may take 2-3 business days.
