Communications Content Manager – Employment Position

Health Partners International of Canada is a Christian NGO (based in the West Island of Montreal) dedicated to improving health and increasing access to medicine in the developing world.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Communications, the Communications Content Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring that HPIC has a steady flow of fresh material to feed its website, social media presence, donor reports and letters, etc.  This job involves working with a team to identify and research story possibilities and to write them, managing the website, preparing presentations and supporting the Senior Director, Communications in raising the visibility of the organization and other objectives. 

The job will involve travel within Canada occasionally as well as the possibility of travelling overseas to report on projects.  

The ideal candidate :

–       holds a university degree in communications, journalism or marketing

–       is a great writer

–       is energetic and productive

–       has media relations and/or social media experience.
