My 5 favorite – ‘Winter Holiday’ Movies

With the winter break right around the corner, I’d like to share with you my 5 favorite ‘winter holiday’ movies.

As you may realize when scanning through the list, ‘fluffy’ over-the-top comedies bring me great pleasure, this time of the year.

5. Bad Santa (2003)

Billy Bob Thornton is quite convincing as a low-life degenerate santa-for-hire. Low on storyline and high on crude humor, this movie edges out the competition to make the list.

4. The Santa Clause (1994)

Who doesn’t love Tim Allen. Tim Allen loves Tim Allen. Weenie whistle, ‘nough said!

3. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)

Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid; need I say more? A family disaster production.

2. Home Alone (1990)

Macaulay Culkin in his prime, outsmarting grown men with clever traps! Three other ‘Home Alone‘ movies were made from its success; it must be good.

1. Elf (2003)

…the best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing LOUD for all to hear…

Think I have poor taste in movies? Let me know. Post your list in the comments section!

Happy Holidays!
