Moving Research into Clinical Practice: April 16th, 2012

You are invited to attend an educational event on April 16th, 2012 which is sponsored by the Richard and Edith Strauss Canada Foundation and hosted by McGill University’s School of Physical and Occupational Therapy. Attached are two programs with detailed information regarding this event. The event will consist of the following:

1) KT WORKSHOP from 10:00am-2:30pm at Thomson House
-Speakers: Dr. Nicol Korner-Bitensky; Anita Menon; Ana Maria Rodriguez
-Content: Strategies for moving research evidence into your clinical practice and at your site

2) PROJECT PRESENTATIONS from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Thomson House
-Keynote Speakers: Dr. Sharon Straus; Dr. Dianne Russell (KT/evidence-based practice experts)
-Content: Twelve funded research teams will be presenting results from their KT-related clinical projects(oral/poster). A wine and cheese reception will follow thereafter.
