ISCEI administrative coordinator position

ISCEI is looking for a full-time administrative coordinator to help develop Indigenous programming, provide administrative support, and serve as a liaison between academic initiatives and Indigenous communities on and off campus. Experience working with Indigenous communities and Indigenous initiatives in Canada, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in Indigenous language revitalization. Ability to serve as a liaison between community-based and university-based initiatives, and to help build connections and develop activities and programming. Excellent problem-solving, prioritizing, and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to multi-task, take initiative, meet deadlines, and work autonomously. Self-motivated, team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills, communicating both internally and externally to McGill with academics, staff, Indigenous communities and community organizations, and government officials. Proven experience with project management, and with event organisation and promotion.
