Ayca Koseoglu’s paper is based on a chapter from her dissertation which she completed in the PhD Program in Architecture at McGill University in Fall 2021. The dissertation examines the relationship between civil protest and urban design in Istanbul by focusing on four case studies between 1969-2013.
